GENERAL BUSINESS & REVIEW/DISCUSSIONS:
LEO will submit their 5-year syllabi for review for the Nov 15 meeting.
- Scott McLeod will take the lead for LEO.
- How does the committee want to work with other programs? It may differ from program area.
- Do program leaders know the committee is starting the 5-year review process?
The CC will meet with the DEI Committee on Nov 15 to work on common goals around land acknowledgements, religious holiday dates and adding inclusivity statements to syllabi.

- Languages and Literacies in Latinx Communities
- Course is part of the Latinx EdD concentration, will be open to all doctoral and upper-level MA students.
- The course will examine theories of language/bilingualism and literacy/biliteracy. Will focus specifically on Latinx communities in the U.S.

- Leadership for Radical Justice in School and Community Settings
- Will submit the course to the CCOC for Cultural Diversity core approval.
- Course will continue the HDFR program focus by incorporating a racial justice leadership emphasis.
