GENERAL BUSINESS & REVIEW/DISCUSSIONS:

The committee will schedule a meeting with HR and Deans Kantor and Garrison-Wade to help improve the lecture hiring and approval process

The CC will develop a statement to define roles and responsibilities of the committee, and the committee’s relationship with faculty

  • Aging syllabi review will be handled at the program level, then submitted to the CC for final review
  • List of syllabi will include pending courses up for review, courses the committee reviewed and asked for resubmissions, and courses not reviewed since 2013
  • The CC will develop a set of guidelines for the review process (i.e. DEI lens, outdated readings)
