The Office of Partnerships at CU Denver’s School of Education & Human Development’s Learn and Grow Collaborative matches talented education students with families of children and young adults in this time of need when each can be of service to the other.

Many university students have lost their jobs and need financial resources. At the same time, families of CU Denver employees may find themselves in need of academic support for their children. The university students in the Learn and Grow Collaborative have been vetted through background checks and have taken college courses on children’s development, planning and implementing engaging curriculum, and delivering equitable learning experiences for children and young adults.

Many of these students have already had extensive experience with children and young adults through field experiences and internships. They can provide support in a variety of ways across the week, such as assisting with schoolwork, creating social/play experiences, and acting as a helping hand—all in a remote learning environment that is engaging and supportive of you and your children.

Your children won’t be with a screen, they will be with a person invested in their growth and learning. Learn more and create a needs profile on the Learn and Grow Collaborative website.
