Current Year Changes to Flexible Spending Accounts

DCFSA Qualifying Life Event

With day cares closed in response to COVID-19 stay-at-home orders, you can make adjustments to your Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA) contributions within 31 days of the Qualifying Life Event by submitting a Change in Dependent Care Form to Employee Services. For more information, visit https://www.cu.edu/docs/qualifying-life-change-guide-change-child-or-dependent-care-needs

Recommendation for July 1:  Do not sign up for DCFSA during Open Enrollment if you are unsure of needs come July 1.  As soon as your daycare resumes, submit the above form within 31 days to start your DCFSA again.
