“As we become aware of ourselves as storytellers we realize we can use our stories to heal and make ourselves whole” – Susan Wittig Albert
At CU Denver we strive to normalize all mental health experiences and create an inclusive environment without stigma. Keep Talking; End the Stigma is an event aimed at decreasing societal and campus stigma around mental health. The event will foster a community of acceptance and open conversations. The event is aimed at normalizing conversations around mental health and increasing help-seeking behavior with mental health professionals, friends, staff, and faculty.
A selection of stories will be shared as a live spoken performance in the Tivoli Turnhalle on April 18th, starting at 4:00pm.
