Acceptance on university campuses of students who identify as LGBTQ has progressed over the past several years. However, students who do identify as LGBTQ often still report feeling that campus environments are negative, hostile, and discriminatory toward them. Little research has been conducted regarding LGBTQ campus climates at religiously-affiliated colleges and universities. The purpose of this study was to conduct an exploratory study using a quantitative research methods approach to understand how LGBTQ-identifying students perceive campus climate at a Jesuit college campus.
