Dr. Brenda Allen and CU Denver Hosts Promising Practices for First Gen Programs

Promising Practices for First Gen Programs is a Pre-Conference the Global MindEd Conference. The Pre-Conference day will include an exploration of best practices with voices from other university campuses and conclude with action planning with input from students, community members and staff who can provide a 360° perspective and be part of our solutions as a team without a hierarchy.
In addition to the Pre-Conference on effective First Gen programs, 100 First Gen Students will have a dedicated day of leadership development exploring how they can contribute to the inclusive agenda on their own campus while opening doors for other First Gen students.
