Short Course on Machine Learning with Python and Jupyter Notebooks

Through a CFD Teaching Enhancement Grant, the Center for Computational Mathematics is hosting a short course on introducing users to Python’s scikit-learn library for Machine Learning on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. in the Student Commons Building Room 1600. Light refreshments will be provided during an afternoon break.

The course only assumes a basic understanding of Python.

We will use Jupyter Notebooks to provide a fun and interactive lecture environment where participants will be able to run, edit, and test code in real-time within a web browser.

Participants will learn about supervised learning, classification, clustering, and information analysis (see the attachment).

Space is limited, so please sign up using the form linked to below. The form takes about one minute to fill out.
