This qualitative case study examined the elaboration process and artifacts of two biliteracy family projects as strength-based pedagogical tools at the classroom level. The purpose was to examine instructional pathways that integrate families and enrich curricular connections between students’ home lives and their classroom. Findings provided insights to the ways families negotiate, affirm and facilitate cultural simultaneity, and their strategies to resist and avoid cultural loss.
