Staff members of the School of Education & Human Development participated in CU in the Community last week by volunteering to spend a morning filling orders at the local warehouse for Food Bank of the Rockies. Staff from the Auraria Library were also present and a group photo was taken.
CU in the Community is a great way to spend time with colleagues while contributing to the well-being of people in Colorado. In January, members of Academic Services also spent time volunteering at the Food Bank of the Rockies. If you weren’t able to participate this year, we hope you will consider doing so next time!
The SEHD Staff Advisory Council promoted university initiative CU in the Community and helped coordinate this volunteer event as part of the program.
