ORDE Faculty Seminar | February 10th

Dear faculty,

Welcome back! I’m happy to announce an upcoming seminar on the Denver campus. This seminar will focus on how to best package yourself, whether you are presenting your case for tenure or you are showing how you’re the best person or team to carry out research in a grant application. We will host a panel of seasoned faculty who have both navigated this “positioning” process themselves, as well as worked with newer faculty to do the same. We will provide lunch and resources for you. Please register quickly as space is limited.

Denver: Positioning Your Work and Yourself

Donna Sobel, Associate Professor Emerita, School of Education & Human Development

Description: Certainly, your research career path and development makes sense to you. But how do you tell the story of your work to others, including grant reviewers and those assessing your work for tenure decisions. Join us for this seminar where you will hear from a panel of diverse faculty members who have great experience in working with faculty to form their research story, as well as having done it themselves.
