Speakers Bureau – Rocky Mountain PBS's Race in Colorado Series

feature-slideshow

SEHD is sponsoring Rocky Mountain PBS’s Race in Colorado and Standing in the Gap series. The first two episodes of Standing in the Gap will air today between 9–10 p.m. on KRMA, Channel 6. The second two episodes will air next Thursday at the same time.

As part of the Race in Colorado sponsorship, our logo will appear at the end of several vignettes promoting the series. Here is a link to the playlists for the vignettes so that you can get a feel for the series: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLd1csdWoPwT5C07h04Pjrg3dC7dfsnee5

We also have a 15 second spot promoting the school which will be shown on Rocky Mountain PBS.

Another part of this sponsorship is the ability for SEHD to suggest faculty members for the Race in Colorado speakers bureau. PBS is compiling a list of individuals who have experiences and expertise on the topic of race specifically in the P-12 educational system in Colorado. This speakers bureau list will serve as a resource to schools and community groups who may want to invite a speaker on the topic in conjunction with a film screening, etc.

We are reaching out to SEHD faculty members to see if you would be interested in serving on the speakers bureau. It is optional.
