“Who is the Asian American Sitting Next to You? Diversity Unmasked”

This interactive workshop responds to the conference theme by exploring on diversity among Asian Americans, their lived experiences based on available research, media and popular culture portrayals, and writings of Asian American scholars. The following themes will be addressed: Diversity among Asian Americans, positive and negative stereotypes. Identifying strategies for coping and recovery.
