Student Committee Mtg. Minutes 11-1-14

Present: Kara Viesca, Lori Elliott, Bryn Harris, Suzanne Adams, and Sandy Mondragon (recorder)

  1. Shared discussion with Dorothy Garrison-Wade on goals and objectives for the committee this year: undergrads, pro-active approach, and climate. Kara will invite Dorothy to the December meeting to discuss further and to review Appeals Process and Honor Code.
  2. Outstanding MA grad is needed by Friday to Lindsay. Committee will vote by doodle poll on Tuesday. Any nominations received after the 5pm Monday, November 03, 2014 deadline will not be considered.
  3. The scholarship application for the 15-16 ay closes on March 1st. April meeting will be all about scholarship awards.
  4. Committee would like to invite Carolyn Haug and/or Michelle Nimer to discuss exit survey data as it relates to the goals and objectives of the committee.
  5. Sandy will take minutes at meetings and submit to Melissa to upload to the Impact.
  6. Next meeting is December 1st.
