I. GENERAL BUSINESS & REVIEW/DISCUSSIONS:

10:00 am – 10:30 am – General Discussion

  •  Joni will join us for the 1st Monday meetings via Skype or Zoom
  • Reach out to Brad Hinson about creating a Curriculum Committee folder on SEHD Impact to house committee templates and forms

  • Questions were brought up at the TeLT meeting and the TeLT team is satisfied the new course fits into the UG and Post-Bac licensure programs                                                                    

 


 

COURSE PROPOSALS/APPROVALS PENDING:

 SPED 4/5030 – Approved 10/28/2014

Letter to the curriculum committee was revised with the following information:

  • That the new course has been discussed among the TeLT team, and that the team is satisfied the course fits into the existing undergraduate and Post-Bac licensure programs and that the ways in which the course will be structured to meet the needs of different student groups was also discussed and agreed upon.
  • That the initial offering of the course in SP15 will be Undergraduate only in Spring 2015
  • The new course name will not be added until Fall 15 (old name and new content will be used in Spring 2015)
  • Efforts will be made to offer hybrid sections as well as online.
