Many federal sponsors, including the NIH, NSF, USDA, and DOD, have updated their training requirements regarding Research Security and Other Support.
Our campus has purchased a Citi training course that meets both requirements in a single module.
To fulfill this requirement, please complete the “Research Security Training (Combined Course)” available on the Office of Regulatory Compliance website. In addition to meeting the NIH requirements, this training also fulfills the Research Security Training requirements of many non-NIH sponsors. Starting on January 25, 2026, all key personnel on an NIH, NSF, USDA, or DOD proposal must complete the Research Security Training (Combined Course) before OGC can submit the proposal.
