Hope your semester is starting off well!
We are seeking participants for an exciting research study focused on understanding what community means to members of the CU Denver School of Education and Human Development (SEHD). Guided by SEHD’s commitment to equity, this study aims to explore how principles of community can support the challenges that arise in our social justice work.
What Happens if You Join?
- In-Person Students: Attend a full-day, 5-hour workshop with meals included. You’ll participate in a participatory action research (PAR) arts-based activity to create a community exhibit, which will be displayed publicly.
- Online Students: Join a half-day, 2.5-hour online workshop. You’ll create digital or physical representations of community, which will be part of a public exhibit.
Benefits:
- Gain hands-on experience with Participatory Action Research.
- Contribute to a revised perspective on building a cohesive SEHD community.
Participants should select only one workshop to ensure a diverse representation of ideas and avoid duplicating perspectives from the same individual.
