- Are there different alternatives that make sense from a pedagogical and administrative perspective
- Are there distinctive guidelines for workload requirements for undergraduate, MA and doctoral courses
- The SEHD follows HLC guidelines for the number of contact hours required à5 credit hours for a 3 credit hour course. CU Denver rounds up to 45 hours to include work outside the class
- HLC guidelines do not quantify work expectations based on course level
- The committee will come up with questions for program leaders, to discuss program practices for cross listing courses, concurrent enrollment courses and 8 week vs 15 week courses
Approved INTE 6950 Experiential Thesis Sean Morris
- LDT program is moving from a portfolio based project to a thesis, part of the program restructure
- The thesis option helps students create their own path through the degree
Approved SPED 1400 Universal Design for Leaning Caron Westland
- Offered as part of the Cherry Creek High School partnership, creating a pipeline for high school students into Special Education and Teacher Preparation
- Course is similar to SPED 4400/5000, will transfer to CU Denver in the EDHD-BA or elective credit
