Dear Faculty,

We’re excited to announce the launch of the 2025–2026 ThinqStudio Faculty Fellows Program—a cross-campus initiative that champions bold experimentation in teaching, builds interdisciplinary community, and advances student success.

ThinqStudio has long been a catalyst for pedagogical innovation at CU Denver, and we’re thrilled to invite faculty from across all units to apply to be part of this dynamic program.

Each school, college, and the library is nominating and supporting one faculty member to serve as a ThinqStudio Faculty Fellow. If selected, you will join a vibrant cohort of educators committed to inclusive, equity-centered, and transformative teaching. As a Fellow, you’ll engage with like-minded colleagues, explore new approaches to teaching, and contribute to shaping the future of education at CU Denver.

As part of the program, Fellows will participate in:

  • Development of projects specifically designed for implementation within their home units
  • Biweekly writing parties — one in-person with LUNCH and one virtual per month — to support collaborative writing and project development. Each 2-hour session will start with a 15-minute check-in followed by focused project work time and then wrapped up with a group conversation.
  • One-on-one meetings with program facilitators
  • An Unconference Spring 2026 where participants will present their projects Your unit will provide details of your application process. We are aiming for a commitment deadline of August 29th. In the meantime, we encourage you to consider applying if you are passionate about reimagining teaching and learning in ways that center care, creativity, and community.

We know this time of year can be busy, and we appreciate your ongoing commitment to innovative and impactful teaching. If you have questions or would like to learn more about the program, please reach out to any of us. We are also happy to attend faculty meetings to give brief presentations about the program and answer questions in person.

Thanks for your attention!
