  1. GENERAL BUSINESS & REVIEW/DISCUSSIONS:

 

Review CC bylaws:

  • The SEHD Bylaws committee is asking for the curriculum committee to review and update bylaws.

Vote on Chair(s) for 2025-2026:

  • Dane Stickney and Troyann Gentile will co-chair the committee.

Title: Appraisal, Assessment, and Research in Counseling

  • The CC did an initial review of the proposed COUN 5300 syllabus and discussed the need for the course with Ed.
  • The course would replace RSEM 5110 & RSEM 5120.
  • The next step is to share the syllabus with RSEM to facilitate further discussions between the two programs.
  • Since the CC will not meet until fall, and the course will be offered for the spring 2026 semester, this allows time for collaboration and potential revisions.
  • The committee will review the resubmitted proposal and syllabus in the fall.
