Teachers as Policy Actors Forum May 22

The roiling political debate around education policies and practices does not often invite PK-12 teachers into the conversation. In response, CU Denver students, alumni, and faculty have created a purposefully designed space for teachers to come together with community members, higher education faculty, policymakers, and legislators.
Please join us on May 22, 5-8pm for an evening of robust conversation and learning together. University of Colorado MA and doctoral students (all current or former teachers) will lead discussions around a policy issue of their choice, inviting in new perspectives and discourse to more fully understand the educational policy landscape we find ourselves in.  Last year’s Forum alumni will keynote the event, and we will have a panel of experts on Colorado education policy to round out the evening.
