Please share this announcement about the Community in SEHD study that is being conducted this spring. Any help you can offer in spreading the word and getting our students connected to this opportunity is greatly appreciated-grads and undergrads across all programs(D1, D2 and D3) are welcome and encouraged to get involved. Dear SEHD students,

We have and exciting opportunity to share with you! You are invited to participate in a research study conducted by the CU Denver School of Education and Human Development (SEHD). This study aims to explore what community means to us as students and how we can create and sustain a true sense of community within SEHD.

Why Participate?

  • Gain hands-on experience with Participatory Action Research.
  • Share your perspective on what community means to you.
  • Contribute to a public exhibit showcasing our collective ideas about community.

How to Participate:

  • In-Person Workshop: A full-day, 5-hour session with breakfast and lunch provided. Create an art exhibit defining community, to be displayed publicly.
    • IN PERSON session dates
      • Saturday, March 15 9am-2pm
  • Online/Remote Workshop: A half-day, 2.5-hour virtual session where you’ll contribute to a digital exhibit on community.
    • REMOTE session dates 
      • Sunday, March 2 noon-2:30pm
      • Tuesday, March 18 5-7:30pm
      • Thursday, April 3 5-7:30pm
