- Updating title to: Identity, Power, and Privilege in Educational and Mental Health Contexts
- Class will now be a 1st year class, modifying the class to include more foundational content, and less practitioner focused.
- Approved by the SEHD curriculum committee, the University Curriculum Committee (UCC) has final approval.
Approved EDFN 7500 Robin Brandehoff
- Title: Critical Race Theory for Justice, Equity, and Diverse Identities
- 8-week course for students in the JEDI EdD concentration.
- Course is a spin-off of CLDE 7310, which focuses on Latine populations.
- EDFN 7500 will have a JEDI lens with a wider focus for students.
- CLDE 7310 may still be offered for the other PhD/EdD concentrations.
- Approved by the SEHD curriculum committee, the UCC has final approval.
Pending EDHD-BA Education & Learning Science Jung-In Kim
- LDFS 4600/6600 & LDFS 4750/6750
- Clarify differentiation between MA and UG courses.
- Think about assignments that are more field based for UG students.
- Check for more recent readings.
- Find different media for learning, Ted Talks, webinars.
- Will be offered as a special topics course in spring 2025 to allow time to work on the syllabus.
