     1. GENERAL BUSINESS & REVIEW/DISCUSSIONS:

Committee priorities and planning for the year:

  • Create structures and processes to help faculty with new courses and revisions.
  • Make a checklist of required items for a review process.
  • Syllabi will not be reviewed by the committee unless the correct syllabus template is used. Add wording and link to CPF form.
  • 5-year review process – lay out a plan and purpose of the review. Process is not about individual syllabi, but a full program review to think about courses that are being offered and how do they align with programs. 5-year Curriculum mapping.
  • Go over timeline and feedback from faculty and program leaders.

Syllabus policies:

  • Add more inclusive language for SEHD policies, work with the DEI committee.
  • Post to Impact and Faculty Resource Canvas shell.
