1. GENERAL BUSINESS & REVIEW/DISCUSSIONS:
Committee priorities and planning for the year:
- Create structures and processes to help faculty with new courses and revisions.
- Make a checklist of required items for a review process.
- Syllabi will not be reviewed by the committee unless the correct syllabus template is used. Add wording and link to CPF form.
- 5-year review process – lay out a plan and purpose of the review. Process is not about individual syllabi, but a full program review to think about courses that are being offered and how do they align with programs. 5-year Curriculum mapping.
- Go over timeline and feedback from faculty and program leaders.
Syllabus policies:
- Add more inclusive language for SEHD policies, work with the DEI committee.
- Post to Impact and Faculty Resource Canvas shell.
2. COURSE PROPOSAL/REVISION REQUESTS:

Approved SPSY 6500 Revision Franci Crepeau-Hobson
- Adjustments required based on accreditation review and feedback. This is an opportunity to be thoughtful about the program after accreditation review.
- Revising title to: Case Conceptualization and Diagnosis
Approved INTE 3000 – Maker Studio Brad Hinson
- Concurrent enrollment course, changing the course number to 3000-level from 4000-level.
- This is a hands-on design thinking course in partnership with SVVSD. The makerspace studio at St. Vrain will be used, this is part of Apple grant.
Approved INTE 6160 Project Management for Learning Design Joni Dunlap
- Updating INTE 5160 course content and changing to a 6000-level course to provide as an option for the EdD Professional Learning (PL) concentration.
- Current course content is out of date in terms of project management trends. Updating the course to keep up with current approaches in project management. This will be a valuable option for EdD PL students.
NOTE: All new courses/revisions were approved by the SEHD Curriculum Committee. The University Curriculum committee (UCC) will review courses to make sure there is no course duplication through other schools/colleges. The UCC has final approval.
