On Monday, December 12, Dr. Lynn Gangone, President and CEO of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, was very impressed with SEHD’s nationally recognized partnership-based undergraduate, graduate, and alternative teacher licensure programs when she visited SEHD to hear about our programs and share her expertise. Dean Marvin Lynn accompanied her throughout the visit. Provost Constancio Nakuma participated in the lunch discussion. Among other things, participants discussed: SEHD’s retention efforts to support diverse candidates; curriculum and embedded clinical experience focused on equity and diversity; and ASPIRE to Teach’s fully remote and highly personalized program.
