YUMPs (Young Upwardly Mobile Professors) grant funds are available through the Center for Faculty Development to support tenure-track faculty for activities that advance them toward tenure. Funded activities can include: attending professional conferences, hiring a research assistant, or buying books/software. Please remind your tenure-track faculty that these funds are available to them.
- Funding Limit: $500/year
- Eligibility: Tenure-track faculty
- Matching: Applicants must secure and document confirmation of matching funds from their school/department.
- Deadline: applications accepted on rolling basis, July 1 – May15
- Funds must be expended within the academic year in which you apply.
