“Net neutrality” is the term used to describe the concept of keeping the Internet open to all lawful content, information, applications, and equipment.

I hope folks are paying attention to the Net Neutrality debate and considering the potential impacts for digital teaching and learning.  It’s about increased costs and decreased access to information and services.  Paywalls.  Tollroads.  Gateways.  Denial or throttling of access based on one’s capability to pay.  Beyond any political leanings, this will impact students.
