The annual CU Denver Block Party (http://www.ucdenver.edu/about/WhoWeAre/Chancellor/ExecutiveTeam/OutreachEvents/BlockParty/Pages/default.aspx) is next Thursday, August 24th from 11 AM – 2 PM on Lawrence Street in front of the LSC building. The School of Education & Human Development will have a tent (actually 2) and we are in need of volunteers to help us get everything set-up, run the activities during the event and also clean-up after the event. Our tent will have a face painter, a caricature artist and a ring toss for some giveaways!

Even if you aren’t able to volunteer, we hope you will still come out and enjoy some fun – there will be great food trucks, interactive games, music from local artists and lots of activities and giveaways! This is a family friendly event so bring the kids!
