The second five-day summer institute for the NSF supported AdPed project included teachers from one Sheridan and three Aurora elementary schools. Teachers were engaged in mathematics activities, video diagnosis of students’ mathematical thinking, and planning for the coming year. The institute was led by PIs Ron Tzur, Heather Johnson, Sally Nathenson-Mejia, Maria Uribe, Alan Davis, Mike Ferrara (CLAS), and Xin Wang and included five doctoral students. A special thank you to doc student and project manager Nicola Hodkowski for all the institute’s organization
