SEHD SAC Meeting
Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 3p.m.
Location: Lawrence Street Center, Room 1148
In Attendance: Jessica Coon, Rachel Cornelius, Shelley Gomez, Lindsay Harn, Bridget Sabo
Items Discussed
- Diversity Committee
- Bridget will obtain Sandy’s supervisor approval for Lindsay to be on the committee
- Jessica will email other staff not selected for the committee….as well as notify the Diversity Committee. We need clarification on “term” length.
- Standing invite to Lindsay for the first 5-10 minutes of each SAC meeting, if nothing to report no need to attend.
- March –Staff Meeting (March 7th)
- Debrief
- Good representation from various program areas
- Really great Dorothy was there, and we should have the Dean (or acting Dean) to introduce all staff meetings
- Social get togethers? Tony/Rachel can create a survey to gauge interest—‘what would you do?’ what days, what times, etc.
- FlipGrid use for program areas—Erin, work study, may be able to go around and do filming for this
- Another Picture Day—May, after the semester is over? End of Semester party with pizza?

- April – Lunch N’Learn
- April 6 – DiSC training
- Tony: Impact Post advertising how many slots are left
- June 17th— 3rd Annual Staff BBQ
- Sloan Lake , will need to provide a detailed map
- Catering Thoughts? Research food trucks, Yak N Yeti?
- Be prepared for WIND!
- Theme- Tibetan?
- Save-the-dates, paper invitation, posting on the door, evites
- Future Planning?
- Elections in the fall, ask Kelly Ragland to gauge interest

- Review any PD Fund Requests
