I. GENERAL BUSINESS & REVIEW/DISCUSSION:
Discussed the course changes for the 2016 – 2017 academic catalog:
- 338 course changes were submitted to the registrar’s office
- Changes include: cross-listing at the undergraduate, MA or doctoral level, creating new courses, course description, title change, prefix changes, course number change, deactivation, and reactivating a previously cancelled course
Course changes that will need to com to the curriculum committee for review are:
- New course
- Cross-listed courses
- Course number change if the course moved to a different level (MA to PhD, etc)
Members of the curriculum committee will work with program leaders to make certain courses are submitted for review.
