School Choice and Charters: What Works?
Charter schools and other forms of choice are a significant part of the Colorado, and national, landscape in 2015. After more than 20 years of growing public school choice, what have we learned? What do we know about student performance at the high and low end of charters? Has competition from choice forced the traditional public schools and school systems to do better? Is choice equitable, in terms of access and outcomes for all students? What can be done to improve our choice systems?
Please join us on March 18, 2015 for this meeting of the joint group of emerging policy savvy teachers and education policy leaders. This is a great chance to connect with like-minded colleagues and learn about opportunities to get more involved.
