What’s new?

Proctorio is an on-demand online test proctoring service now available to UCD faculty. You can use it to identify who is taking a test and enforce exam rules and monitor test-taking behaviors. If you are interested in Proctorio, we have developed aguide with more information, including how to install the app into your course.

Polls and MagicMarker are two new apps developed by Canvas. Although in their beta stages, the two tools offer some interesting options for face-to-face classrooms.Polls allows you to create, administer and collect informal responses from students using a mobile device.MagicMarker is an iPad app used to monitor mastery of learning outcomes.

The CU Online Podcast is a brand new recorded talk show about digital pedagogy and the future of learning hosted by Michael Edwards and David Lyons. A podcast is like a radio show released on the Internet. Head to the cuonlinepodcast.com to listen to intervews with faculty, designers, and technologists as we discuss teaching with technology and the future of learning!

Adobe Connect (connect.cuonline.edu) will be retired at the end of the semester. We are currently piloting a replacement tool. In the meantime, you can use BigBlueButton which is accessible in Canvas via the conferences link in your course menu. Adobe Connect recordings will be available until December 31, 2014. AMC will continue to host Connect services on connect.ucdenver.edu.
