Olivia Jones, an ASPIRE to Teach candidate at Manual High School, was featured in Chalkbeat Colorado! When the district announced that the future of Manual was up in the air, her students took action. They began an email and photo campaign to the district to speak up and have a say in what the school’s future will be. They set up a website (with an introduction to the project) and student’s essays. Colorado picked up the story and the superintendent set up a face to face meeting with them last week.
