GENERAL BUSINESS & REVIEW/DISCUSSIONS:
Dean Kantor has asked the curriculum committee to come up with a plan to review course syllabi every 5 years. The committee has started working on a process, and will share with faculty and program leaders once a process is in place.

Approved CLDE New Courses Liz Mahon & Chris Carson
Courses will be part of the new embedded CLDE endorsement for undergraduate Elementary Education majors. The new CLDE endorsement will offer three new courses that will take the place of CLDE 4160, CLDE 4820, and CLDE 4030. A CLDE Foundations course will come though the curriculum committee in March.
- CLDE 3830: Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Teaching through STEM
- Replacing CLDE 4820 Teaching Multicultural Learners
- CLDE 4700/5700: Social Studies for Multilingual Learners
- Replacing CLDE 4160 History and Law of Bilingual Immigrant Education.
