Spring Commencement Outstanding Graduates
BA – Jennifer Crowley-Petrovic
MA – Allie Lichota
PhD – Crystal Luce
PsyD – Devin Rodriguez
- Diana contacted faculty to ask for a BS nominee by EOB on March 4, if they have one.
- Diana will create the certificates for the outstanding graduates.
- Diana will notify Sandy Mondragon and Rebecca Schell of the awardees.
Student Appeal / Plans for Updating Student Handbooks and Policies:
- Our review of the appeal to approve another attempt at an MA comprehensive exam revealed many inconsistencies, missing information, and a lack of clear processes for students and faculty.
- The committee discussed recommending changes to streamline/clarify/improve current policies and processes. These need to be addressed with the Dean and Associate Deans before we can decide on the appeal. The committee composed a message requesting a meeting.
- The policy requires that we notify the student of a decision within 30 days of the appeal. We have until March 13 to issue our decision.
- Once we meet with school leadership, we will make our decision on the appeal via email.
