Kristen “Cheetah” Lindquester, a DPS-STR & CLDE graduate student is one of the three core organizers for the Women’s March on Denver that will take place on Saturday, January 21. More than 40,000 women, men and children from around Colorado have expressed interest in participating – hundreds have volunteered to help. Cheetah completed her teacher licensure through the CU Denver Public Schools Student Teacher Residency program, and is continuing on with a masters in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. At the new student CLDE orientation, Cheetah shared how her classes in the SEHD helped move her towards activism. Thank you, Cheetah, for putting your energy towards organizing The Women’s March on Denver. Many UC Denver faculty are planning on attending.
