Greetings and welcome to the updated CU Denver Counseling Program Internship Website. As an Assistant Clinical Professor and the Clinical Coordinator for the Counseling Program, one of my primary goals is to provide students and community based internship providers with a one stop resource for information about our internship programs.
This site provides a wide variety of information about the policies and procedures for internship, as well as up to date information about approved sites, handbooks, applications and other important forms.
For the most up-to-date information on approved internship sites, please go to the Approved Site list (as new sites will be added as they become approved). It provides you with information on all of our approved sites, including address, telephone number, site supervisor names and access to the agency website. When you access the list (it is a google doc) you can save it and sort it by track, location etc..). Please note that some site information may be outdated, so please let me know, so I can update with the correct information.
If you have specific questions about internship, please check out the Frequently Asked Questions Section. Hopefully it will provide answers to your questions. If you don’t find answers to your questions, don’t hesitate to write them down in the comments section. I’ll be checking the site frequently and will answer them as I find them.
There is a password for some of the content on this site, due to other folx from outside the University using this site as their own guide to finding internships in the Denver/metro area. Please remember that this website is a work in progress. I will continue to develop each area and add new sections as the need arises. Please come back and see the progress that is being made!
