“Agency/Program Description”:
The goal of the Wellness Program is to help our students stay or become resilient and thriving young adults by providing them with the social-emotional tools of: relationship skills, emotional intelligence, stress management, and decision-making. To this end, interns carry a caseload of 25-30 students, whose academic performance and pro-social skill development they track biweekly through counseling and support. CT is a non-emergency facility. It does not diagnose or treat mental illness. Referrals are made if these needs arise and weekly support sessions are deemed insufficient to fully support students.
