Marriage Counselor / Career Counselor Contract Therapist / Coach Position:
We are hoping to find a warm, smart and competent clinician or two to join our practice: Growing Self Counseling and Coaching.
We currently have openings for a marriage counselor and a career counselor. Growing Self a vibrant, collaborative private practice setting in which we see motivated, high-functioning clients who primarily present seeking help with their relationships, or mild mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression. Many of our clients are also interested in life coaching. All our clients value a positive, evidence-based approach.
- This is a part-time contract position requiring a 2-4 day per week commitment.
- Working with us you could expect to grow your caseload to approximately 16-24 clients per week.
- You can create your own hours within available days at our Cherry Creek, Broomfield, and Denver Tech Center office locations. You may also work from home, meeting with clients through online videoconferencing.
Compensation $30 and $57 per 45 minute session, depending on the sliding scale rate of your client. You’ll also have access to clinical supervision, group supervision, and trainings, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with other team members. You will need your own laptop to access our electronic record-keeping system. Our ideal candidate: • Has a Master’s Degree (or higher) in counseling psychology or a related field • Has excellent relationship building skills • Is available to work during high-demand times (some evenings and weekends)
- Is comfortable with technology, and online scheduling / record keeping systems • Is able to work independently in a private practice setting • Attended a CACREP or APA accredited graduate program, and is eligible for licensure as a MFT, or
- Attended a CACREP or APA accredited graduate program, and is eligible for licensure as a LPC, and has specialized training and experience in career counseling
- Has received training or credentialing specific to coaching
- Is comfortable with the idea of working with clients remotely
- Has training and experience in evidence-based forms of therapy and/or couples counseling
- Is able to identify and effectively help individuals with with a variety of concerns including life transitions, adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and (mild) trauma If interested, please submit your CV or resume, and a cover to the clinical director of Growing Self, Dr. Lisa Marie Bobby
