Hello Everyone,

There are new and exciting changes coming to the UCD Counseling Program Internship Website!!! We want to provide the best opportunity and experience for our Counseling students in seeking out an internship site, as well as landing a site to complete your last requirement of the program. As we want to protect the hard work of our Clinical Coordinator, Dr. Gentile, as well as our faculty, in making relationships with the sites posted, we are moving to a PASSWORD PROTECTED website. In particular, we want our UCD students to be the first to know about anything regarding our internship programs rather than the general public. We want to maintain the integrity of our program as we move forward. As such, a password will be assigned every January, at the start of the calendar year and will be CPCE and the Current Year (look below for examples), and it will change year-to-year. Since the password will change, you can find the most up to date password through several routes:

  1. Look in the Internship Manual (page 12)
  2. Look at the top right of the ABOUT US page, which will be open for viewing to the general public; it will be at the end of the tag line and will be updated with every calendar year.

i.e. CU Denver Masters Level Counseling Students’ One-Stop Source for                                        Information CPCE2015

  1. Contact Dr. Gentile (LAST RESORT)

Examples:

For January 2015 – December 2015 the password will be CPCE2015 (no spaces + all caps)

For Jan 2016 – Dec 2016 the password will be CPCE2016 (no spaces + all caps)

The purpose of the UCD Internship Website is to provide you with the most up to date information regarding internship openings, job postings, events, the news/newsletter, and most importantly, it is Dr. Gentile’s first stop in making announcements regarding your internship site and/or experience. In other words, Dr. Gentile will post under the FYI section anything that is of the utmost importance that you need to know and with which you need to inform yourself. Feel free to browse the website and become familiar with its content as well as how to navigate the most important piece – the internship map.

**Please make it a habit to visit every so often to check on any updates/new posts from Dr. Gentile.

PLEASE NOTE: Anna Ivanova, a current counseling student, has been working hard on helping me make this website more user-friendly. She is currently working on setting up a subscription to the website where you will ONLY receive emails once a new post has been made on the website. It is more efficient to send out a subscription email with the new posts that’s why we are moving on to this interface. Once it is up and running, we will be notifying you through email or you can subscribe yourself as you find it on the website while browsing. When you see Anna on Campus make sure you thank her for her service to you all.

Thank you for your time and attention and we hope you are having a fabulous start to the semester!
