Shakira has been recognized as the December employee of the month, and Matt is the university&#8217;s October employee of the month. <strong>Both well deserved!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Matt and Shakira were each surprised with awards this week, and we captured their embarrassment in the <a href=\"https:\/\/flipgrid.com\/sehd\">sehdTV FlipGrid<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ucdenver.edu\/about\/departments\/assessmentoffice\/generaleducationassessment\/PublishingImages\/EOM%20Award.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/>Employee of the Month (EOM)\u00a0nominations are considered and voted upon each quarter by the university Staff Council. \u00a0In February, the university Staff Council considered campus nominations received for the second quarter of this fiscal year (October \u2013 December) and made the following awards. \u00a0The SEHD received two out of the three awards made for last quarter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><strong>Tip &#8216;o the hat\u00a0to the SEHD Staff Council for helping our\u00a0outstanding colleagues get the recognition they deserve! \u00a0 Nicely done folks.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BIG congrats to Shakira Anderson and\u00a0Matt Mitchell, respectively,\u00a0 for their recognition as outstanding university employees!
