{"id":9295,"date":"2017-02-14T16:27:38","date_gmt":"2017-02-14T16:27:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sehd.ucdenver.edu\/impact\/?p=9295"},"modified":"2017-02-14T16:27:38","modified_gmt":"2017-02-14T16:27:38","slug":"cfd-teaching-enhancement-grants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sehd.ucdenver.edu\/impact\/2017\/02\/14\/cfd-teaching-enhancement-grants\/","title":{"rendered":"CFD Teaching Enhancement Grants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Center for Faculty Development (CFD) Teaching Enhancement\u00a0Grants support projects that seek to develop innovations in teaching or enhance a faculty members pedagogical practice.<\/p>\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucdenver.edu\/faculty_staff\/faculty\/center-for-faculty-development\/grants\/CFD%20Teaching%20Enhancment%20Grants\/Documents\/Updated%202017-18%20CFD%20CFD%20Teaching%20Enhancement%20Grants%2011.29.16.docx\">CFD Teaching Enhancement Grant Application<\/a>\u00a0(DOC)<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Award Size <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Funding Limit: up to $3,000<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funding Priorities and Supported Expenditures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are hoping to fund\u00a0projects that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop modes of teaching that are learner-centered; or<\/li>\n<li>Promote diversity and inclusive practices in the classroom; or<\/li>\n<li>Enhance the use of high impact practices; or<\/li>\n<li>Seek to develop digital pedagogies; or<\/li>\n<li>Undertake scholarly activity\u00a0focused on teaching and learning in higher education; or<\/li>\n<li>Seek to develop innovative course-based or program level assessment. \u200b<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Funded activities include: attending or presenting at a teaching\/learning conference, workshop, or short-course (non-credit),\u00a0inviting outside expert to give a\u00a0lecture or workshop related to teaching\/learning,\u00a0hiring a research assistant for a teaching\/learning project, materials costs related to teaching, or course development focused on funding priorities (course development payable as PD funds only).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Purpose Center for Faculty Development (CFD) Teaching Enhancement\u00a0Grants support projects that seek to develop innovations in teaching or enhance a faculty members pedagogical practice.
