{"id":9079,"date":"2014-12-17T22:21:37","date_gmt":"2014-12-17T22:21:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sehd.ucdenver.edu\/impact\/?p=9079"},"modified":"2017-01-10T22:24:17","modified_gmt":"2017-01-10T22:24:17","slug":"december-17-2014-sac-meeting-minutes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sehd.ucdenver.edu\/impact\/2014\/12\/17\/december-17-2014-sac-meeting-minutes\/","title":{"rendered":"December 17, 2014 &#8211; SAC Meeting Minutes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SEHD SAC Meeting<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Wednesday, December 14, 2014 at 12p.m.<br \/>\nLocation: Lawrence Street Center, Room 1148<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>SAC Website and IMPACT<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It was suggested a \u201cNew to Denver\u201d section be added to the Employee Onboarding Page on Impact.<\/li>\n<li>Since the Employee Onboarding page contains helpful information even for current staff, it was requested a link to it be placed on the Navigation Menu of the SAC website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Suggestions for SAC Structure <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As not everyone was present, these suggestions will need to be brought up during the next meeting and discussed in depth; however, it was suggested that:\n<ul>\n<li>Melissa and Michelle serve as the vice-chairs<\/li>\n<li>Jessica to serve as the secretary<\/li>\n<li>Lindsay as the treasurer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Melissa offered to join the Welcoming Committee. Members now consist of Jessica Coon, Melissa Burrows and JaNet Hurt (staff participant).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General Brainstorming Ideas<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bring back the \u201cYou Made My Day\u201d cards and have them brought to our quarterly staff meeting. It was suggested to acknowledge all recipients of cards and their service.<\/li>\n<li>The staff would like a photo directory. Perhaps we should propose this at the next all staff meeting. In the past, there were concerns about privacy, if this is an issue, a staff member could opt out of the directory.<\/li>\n<li>New faculty members are being introduced on IMPACT with a new hire intro video\u2014should we start one for staff as well?<\/li>\n<li>Name Change Proposal&#8211;Employee Recognition Council should change names to Employee Recognition Committee.<\/li>\n<li><strong>ACTION<\/strong> <strong>ITEM<\/strong>: Send reminder to submit PD Fund Requests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For Next Time\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create Quarterly Staff Meeting Agenda for Tuesday, February 24 from 11:30-1p.m.\u2014Potluck?<\/li>\n<li>Review financial budgets, provide any follow-up to Tim<\/li>\n<li>Finalize SAC member roles<\/li>\n<li>Take a group photo!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Review PD requests (if applicable)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SEHD SAC Meeting Wednesday, December 14, 2014 at 12p.m. Location: Lawrence Street Center, Room 1148 SAC Website and IMPACT It was suggested a \u201cNew to Denver\u201d section be added to the Employee Onboarding Page on Impact.
