{"id":8988,"date":"2016-12-02T21:36:18","date_gmt":"2016-12-02T21:36:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sehd.ucdenver.edu\/impact\/?p=8988"},"modified":"2016-12-02T21:36:18","modified_gmt":"2016-12-02T21:36:18","slug":"hsa-open-enrollment-now-through-dec-9","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sehd.ucdenver.edu\/impact\/2016\/12\/02\/hsa-open-enrollment-now-through-dec-9\/","title":{"rendered":"HSA Open Enrollment &#8211; NOW Through Dec 9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Colorado&#8217;s Health Savings Account record keeper will change from Wells Fargo to Optum Bank on Jan. 1, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this transition, the University will change its HSA enrollment from a fiscal year (July 1 to June 30) to a calendar year (Jan. 1 to Dec. 31).<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s why a limited\u00a0<strong>HSA enrollment is being held between now and Dec. 9.<\/strong>\u00a0During this time, current HSA enrollees can select how much money they would like to place into an HSA for 2017. The 2017 HSA contribution limits are $3,400 for an individual and $6,750 for a family.
