When campus leaders reached out to Dr. Jennifer L. Bloom (co-founder of the Appreciative Advising and Education movements) for thoughts on a local keynote speaker, Meredith was the first person she mentioned. The theme of Meredith\u2019s address was how to be be a sane and effective advisor. She shared stories from her 20 years of experience in higher education and inspired participants to see the long-lasting impact advisors can have on students\u2019 lives. She closed with a challenge, \u201cnever stop learning or giving \u2013 become that agent of change, that mentor.
