All of us are guilty of grumbling when things don\u2019t work as expected. \u00a0 It is frustrating when you need it, and it isn\u2019t primed and ready. \u00a0 In the TechTeam we do our best to keep SEHD tech primed and ready. \u00a0 However, it really does take a village.<\/div>\n

Just as the SEHD Staff Council is addressing our kitchen areas, we have issues with other community areas \u00a0– classrooms, printers, shared drives, and etc. \u00a0 Folks rewire smart classrooms, and don\u2019t put things back as they found them. \u00a0Webcams and keyboards disappear from classrooms\/conference rooms. \u00a0 Folks will burn through reams of paper and toner on public printers. \u00a0Folks leave projectors running in empty rooms \u2013 burning out $400 projector bulbs. \u00a0 Worst of all, folks will experience a technical problem and openly complain about it – \u00a0but not report it! \u00a0 And like the kitchens, they walk away \u2013 leaving the next tenant with the issues<\/b>.<\/div>\n

So, yea. \u00a0I\u2019ve had lots of roommates over the years and this is that. \u00a0Occasionally we have to remind one another that we\u2019re in this together. \u00a0 I won\u2019t drink your milk if you\u2019ll keep your dirty laundry off the couch. \u00a0Etc. \u00a0So this is my appeal to you \u2013 let’s do our best to take care of all of our shared spaces and be considerate of all of our roommates. \u00a0The golden rule\u2026<\/div>\n
