GENERAL BUSINESS &amp; REVIEW\/DISCUSSION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Discussed the course changes for the 2016 &#8211; 2017 academic catalog:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>338 course changes were submitted to the registrar&#8217;s office<\/li>\n<li>Changes include: cross-listing at the undergraduate, MA or doctoral level, creating new courses, course description, title change, prefix changes, course number change, deactivation, and reactivating a previously cancelled course<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Course changes that will need to com to the curriculum committee for review are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New course<\/li>\n<li>Cross-listed courses<\/li>\n<li>Course number change if the course moved to a different level (MA to PhD, etc)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Members of the curriculum committee will work with program leaders to make certain courses are submitted for review.<\/p>\n<p><strong>II.
