Use the <\/span>Title<\/span><\/b> style for the name of the document. Use <\/span>Heading 1<\/span><\/b> for the main top-level section in the document structure.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thinking of it as a roadmap: <\/span>Title is the document name; Heading 1 is the first stop in the content structure.<\/span><\/p>\n

Title:<\/span><\/b> names the document, usually appears once at the top, and uses the Title style.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Heading 1:<\/span><\/b> begins the main content structure and serves as the top-level heading, with Heading 2 and Heading 3 nested beneath it.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Do:<\/span><\/b> use Title for the document name, Heading 1 for the top content level, and keep heading levels in order.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Avoid:<\/span><\/b> making plain text simply <\/span>look<\/span><\/i> like a heading, using Heading 1 just because text is large, or randomly skipping heading levels.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
