{"id":20530,"date":"2025-12-08T13:56:36","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T20:56:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sehd.ucdenver.edu\/impact\/?p=20530"},"modified":"2025-12-08T13:56:36","modified_gmt":"2025-12-08T20:56:36","slug":"reminder-lecturer-gpti-ta-and-student-temporary-pay-changes-effective-1-1-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sehd.ucdenver.edu\/impact\/2025\/12\/08\/reminder-lecturer-gpti-ta-and-student-temporary-pay-changes-effective-1-1-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder: Lecturer, GPTI, TA, and Student\/Temporary Pay Changes Effective 1\/1\/2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As a reminder, beginning <strong>January 1, 2026<\/strong>, compensation rates for several instructional and hourly roles will update as follows:<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Instructional Roles<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lecturer &amp; GPTI:<\/strong> Pay will increase to <strong>$5,125<\/strong> per fully enrolled 3-credit course<\/li>\n<li><strong>Teaching Assistants:<\/strong> Pay will increase <strong>to $1,930<\/strong> per 3-credit course<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Student &amp; Temporary Workers<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Please note the following change for anyone supervising student or temporary hourly employees:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Denver minimum wage increases to $19.29\/hour<\/strong> effective <strong>January 1, 2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Supervisors should <strong>review existing budgets<\/strong> and plan accordingly within previously approved funding amounts.
